David Coleman MP, The Federal Member for Banks has announced that the local community is set to benefit from upgrades to PJ Ferry Hall which will be funded by a Federal Government Grant.
The hall, which is situated within the PJ Ferry Reserve, on the corner of Bellevue Parade and Blakesley Road in Allawah is used by many local community groups who will benefit from the upgrades.
The upgrade will include improved accessibility to the hall, repairs to the bathroom facilities and upgrades to the kitchen.
“The PJ Ferry Hall is a very important community asset,” David said. “I am pleased that we have been able to secure Federal funding to support this project which will benefit many local groups.”
Funding has been awarded under the Federal Government Stronger Communities Grant Program. Under this program the Federal Government provides up to 50% of the funds towards important local community projects.
