STATE GOVERNMENT MUST DELIVER UPGRADES AT RIVERWOOD’S SALT PAN RESERVE

David Coleman MP, the Federal Member for Banks is calling on the State Government to deliver much-needed upgrades for the Salt Pan Reserve in Riverwood.

The Salt Pan Reserve is a very large open site of over 45 hectares. The vast area hosts potential to deliver new sporting and recreational spaces for the community.

In March last year, the previous State Government committed $85.6 million to transform the space into a centre of sporting facilities and passive recreational spaces.

Mr Coleman is calling on the new State Government to deliver those upgrades at the Salt Pan Reserve.

“There are very few sites like this left in Sydney,” Mr Coleman said.

“A major upgrade of the site at Salt Pan Reserve will be a fantastic opportunity to create much-needed sporting fields for our community,” Mr Coleman said.
