70 local community volunteers were presented with awards by David Coleman MP, Federal Member for Banks and the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Hon Julie Bishop MP. “Tara has been recognised for her exceptional commitment to East Hills Netball Club”, Mr Coleman said. “She has previously supported the club as player, coach and Vice President and is now in her fifth year as President of the Club.”

Tara has helped the club reach their record number of teams for a season and this year has also volunteered as a coach for the Development Squad. Bob Bell from Panania RSL Soccer Club was named as runner-up.
