DAVID COLEMAN WELCOMES OPENING OF NEW BOARDWALK AT LAMBETH RESERVE

David Coleman has welcomed the opening of the new boardwalk at Lambeth Reserve in Picnic Point.

Under the Georges River Recovery Plan, Canterbury-Bankstown Council was awarded a total of $468, 000 to deliver the Lambeth Reserve Timber Boardwalk Replacement Project. This project saw the replacement of the badly damaged walkway, as well as its extension by 30 metres.

The walkway at Lambeth Reserve is now much safer and more accessible thanks to these works.

“The Georges River is one of our local area’s greatest assets,” Mr Coleman said, “It is important that we have facilities along the river which are up to standard.”

“I am really pleased that this project has now been completed, and local residents can now enjoy the upgraded path.”
