COLEMAN CONGRATULATES ST GEORGE HSC HIGH ACHIEVERS

Federal Member for Banks, David Coleman MP, has congratulated all HSC students today, and in particular high achievers from local schools.

“The HSC is the culmination of thirteen years of hard work and commitment,” Mr Coleman said.

“I know there would have been hundreds of sighs of relief right around the St George region as students received their ATARs. It signals the end of their high school journey, but also the start of a new part of their lives.

“It is great to see so many local students being recognised for their outstanding achievements”.

Spiros Kalavritinos of Georges River College, Oatley, achieved the top mark in New South Wales for Legal Studies.

“Spiros has achieved a brilliant result. It’s fantastic to see someone from a school here in Oatley achieve the best result in Legal Studies in the entire state,” Mr Coleman said.

“Nine other local students from schools in the Banks electorate were recognised as All-Round Achievers. This means that they received a mark of 90+ in 5 or more subjects”.

The nine local students to be announced as All-Round Achievers are:

  • Eilis Granger from Bethany College
  • Matthew Fong from Blakehurst High School
  • Brianna King from Danebank Anglican School for Girls
  • Eliza Kuang from Danebank Anglican School for Girls
  • Brigette Lo from Danebank Anglican School for Girls
  • Sarah Vogel from Danebank Anglican School for Girls
  • Zhi Yi from Danebank Anglican School for Girls
  • Gloria Li from Georges River College, Oatley
