Road safety at the intersection of George Street and Forest Road has been an issue for many years.
This intersection is extremely busy which makes it very difficult for motorists to safely turn right onto Forest Road from George Street.
David Coleman, the Federal Member for Banks, recently conducted a survey where many residents expressed their strong concerns about safety at the intersection.
“The intersection of George Street and Forest Road in Penshurst is dangerous, and it needs to be fixed,” Mr Coleman said.
“It is important that Council acts on these community concerns to improve safety for all local residents,”Mr Coleman said.
