WORK UNDERWAY ON NEW HURSTVILLE GOLF COURSE CLUBHOUSE

Work is underway on the construction of a new clubhouse at Hurstville Golf Course.

The Federal Government committed more than $1.3 million towards the project in order to provide a better facility to meet the size and needs of Hurstville Golf Club.

The new two-storey clubhouse will include a pro-shop, changerooms, storage space, office space for the club executives, and an extensive entertainment area on the first floor. David Coleman MP, Member for Banks, said that Federal funding had allowed this project to go ahead after years of planning.

“Hurstville Golf Club is an important sporting institution in our area with hundreds of members making the most of the scenic course,” Mr Coleman said.

“The new clubhouse will provide a better facility for players and I look forward to seeing it opened for the community.”

Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.
