David Coleman MP, Federal Member for Banks, has announced that the Federal Government will provide $205,000 for an upgrade to the intersection of Broad Arrow Road, Hannans Road, and Kardella Crescent in Narwee.
The intersection upgrade will involve the installation of raised medians to better define the direction of traffic and prevent future incidents.
“This is a major intersection in Narwee where issues with visibility and speeding have meant that a number of accidents have occurred,” Mr Coleman said.
“We have committed to upgrading this intersection on Broad Arrow Road in order to improve road safety for local motorists and pedestrians in Narwee.”
Construction is expected to begin later this year.
