DAVID COLEMAN HOSTS MINISTER KEN WYATT AT AGED CARE ROUNDTABLE IN PENSHURST

Mr David Coleman MP, Federal Member for Banks, has hosted the Minister for Aged Care, Ken Wyatt at an Aged Care Service Providers round table in Penshurst.

Around 20 service providers attended the forum which was held at the 3Bridges Centre at St Georges Road Penshurst.

The Minister spoke about the challenges facing aged care and the need for bureaucrats to be more engaged with front line service providers.

“The briefing gave local Aged Care Service Providers the opportunity to raise the issues that were most relevant to their activities directly with the Minister” said Mr Coleman.

“Topics raised included MyAgedCare and the additional services that are often provided by these groups,” Mr Coleman said.

“It was good to have the Minister in Banks, listening to local Aged Care Service Providers who do a tremendous job looking after some of our most vulnerable community members,” Mr Coleman said.
