David Coleman MP, Federal Member for Banks, has announced that if elected, a Coalition Government would provide funding from a revitalised Safer Communities Fund (SCF) to deliver security upgrades for Penshurst Mosque.
Mr Coleman said that this funding would improve safety for the Penshurst Mosque community by delivering security lighting upgrades, new CCTV cameras, and upgraded fencing.
“Everyone in our local community deserves to feel safe. This security upgrade for Penshurst Mosque will help deter anti-social behaviour in the local area. This will be an important step in supporting the Penshurst Mosque Community,” Mr Coleman said.
